Spotlight Rows allows a user to easily navigate and visually search for content of relevance to them. Displaying Channel Cards as a Spotlight Row is a great to highlight different content types available to members or provide easily navigation to top-level channel that might not usually be displayed as spotlight rows. I.e. Conferences, Meetings, Courses & Webinars.
Select Channels to Highlight
- In Admin, browse to Library >Content
- Scroll through the content list to locate the specific Channel you want to edit.
- On the far right of the Channel row, you'll see a menu button with three vertical dots (⋮).
- From the dropdown menu, select Quick Edit
- From the Quick Edit side menu, select Highlight Channel
- Save, and Repeat for each channel you want to display on your channels row
Add Highlighted Channels as a Spotlight Row on your Library
- Browse to Library > Layout >Rows & Recommendations tab
- From Recommendations menu, toggle Channels
- Save
Use the drag-and-drop menu to adjust the sort order.
Highlighted Channels will now display as a row on your Content Library:
Style Channel Cards:
Channel cover cards on Webcastcloud provide a visually engaging way to highlight featured channels. These cards can include gradients, background images, and animations to enhance their appearance.
- In Admin, browse to Library >Content
- From the left-hand side Channel list, right click on the channel you want to edit, and select Edit
- Select Spotlight Row tab
- Highlight Channel: Toggle on the highlight button so the channel will appear in the spotlight row.
- Font Color: set the color for the font displaying the channel name on the card
- Select Background Color: Select a color or gradient overlay for your channel card image, or use as an alternative to the background image.

- Color Animation: turn on to animate the gradient color overlay.
- Background Image: Display a background image on your channel card. This can be used in additional to a color or gradient overlay. Recommended Size: 220x180px
