Once your CE Activity Templates have been created, you can assign credits and a CE Activity Template to any video, webinar, or course content.
This allows Webcastcloud to determine when a user has successfully completed the activity and should receive education credits.
Step 1 - Find and Edit the Content
In Admin, navigate to Library → Content
Select the Channel where your video or webinar is located
Find the content from the list
Open the Actions menu
Select Edit
Step 2 - Configure CE Credit Settings
From the Content Info tab, configure the following fields.
Content Type
Select the Content Type for the activity.
If you have CE Credit Write-Back configured with your AMS or CRM, the Content Type may need to match the activity type expected by your external system.
Examples may include:
Webinar
Course
Event
Module
Select a Module if your organization uses modules for grouping education activities.
This field may be optional depending on your configuration.
Credits
Enter the education credit value awarded when the user completes the activity.
Example: 1.0
This represents the number of CE/CPD/CME credits earned when the completion requirements are met.
CE Activity Template
Select the CE Activity Template from the dropdown list.
This template determines how completion is measured, such as:
Passing a quiz
Watching a minimum percentage of the video
Step 3 - Save
Click Save
Once configured, Webcastcloud will automatically evaluate user activity against the selected CE Activity Template.
When the completion criteria are met, the user will be awarded the configured credits.
If CE Credit Write-Back is enabled, the credits may also be sent back to your CRM or Association Management System.
