Overview
Theatre Mode allows videos to display in a larger, more immersive viewing layout by default when a viewer opens the play page.
This can help improve the viewing experience for webinars, training content, and long-form videos by reducing distractions around the page.
How to Enable Theatre Mode Site Wide
- Login to your Webcastcloud Admin Portal
Navigate to:
Admin > Appearance > Customize
- Select the Play Page tab
- Expand the Video Player menu
- Change the Player Mode from 'Default' to 'Video Mode' if not already selected.
Turn ON:
Enable Theatre Mode by Default
- Save your changes
What Happens When Enabled?
- Videos will automatically open in Theatre Mode
- The video player will appear larger on the page
- Viewers can still exit Theatre Mode manually if desired
