Overview

In this article you will learn how to create a discount code that can be used at checkout for a single paid video or entire channel of videos.

Create a Discount Policy

1. Browse to Monetization > Discounts
2. Select Add
3. Select the Channel the discount will apply to
4. Enter a Name for the discount policy 
5. Video Percentage: Set a percentage based discount that will apply to this discount code for video purchases only.  
6. Channel Percentage - Set a percentage based discount that will apply to the channel price. If channel percentage is set to 0 then no discount will apply to the channel.  

Set a Discount Code

• Once the discount has been created, you can browse down to Discount Codes
• Enter the code that will be used be your member at checkout.  
• Select Add Code
• The code will be added to the list below.  You can now share the discount code with your members who can use the code at checkout.
