The Sales Order Analytics in Webcastcloud Admin helps you track and manage your sales performance across different product types like videos, channels, courses, and resources. This tool allows you to filter sales data, monitor sales by channel, and view detailed order transactions.
Step-by-Step Guide to Accessing Sales Orders Analytics
1. Navigating to Sales Order Analytics
- Log into your Webcastcloud Admin account.
- From the left-hand menu, navigate to Analytics.
- Select Sales Orders.
2. Viewing Total Sales Results
Once you're in the Sales Orders section, you'll see the following high-level sales metrics at the top of the page:
- Total Sales: Displays the total revenue generated since the platform's inception.
- Total Sales This Year: Shows the total quantity of sales made in the current year.
- Total Video Sales: The total revenue generated exclusively from video sales.
- Total Channel Sales: The total revenue generated from channel or bundled sales.
3. Applying Filters
You can customize your view by applying filters to see sales data for specific time periods, channels, or product types. Here's how to apply filters:
- Order Date Start: Select the start date for the order data you want to view (use the format
dd/mm/yyyy
). - Order Date End: Select the end date for the sales data (use the format
dd/mm/yyyy
). - Status: Choose to filter orders by their status:
- All
- Open
- Complete
- Refunded
- Search: Use the keyword search to filter results based on customer names, product names, or other order details.
- Channel: Select specific channels to filter the sales data by channel or bundled sales.
- Product Type: Choose the type of product you want to analyze:
- All
- Channel
- Video
- Courses
- Resources
Once you've applied the desired filters, click Submit to generate the filtered sales data.
4. Understanding the Sales Orders Table
After applying your filters, the Sales Orders Table will display transaction details based on your selections. The table includes the following columns for each sales order:
- Sales RefNo: The reference number for the sales transaction.
- Customer Name: The name of the customer who placed the order.
- Email: The customer’s email address.
- Sub Total: The subtotal of the order, excluding any discounts.
- Total: The total amount after applying any discounts.
- Discount Code: If a discount code was used, it will be shown here.
- Status: The current status of the order, such as Purchased, Open, or Refunded.
- Created Date: The date the sales order was created.
- Order Date: The actual date of the purchase.
- Customer ID: The unique identifier for the customer.
5. Viewing Detailed Order Information
Each row in the Sales Orders Table is collapsible. Click on a row to expand it and see more detailed information about the transaction. The expanded section includes:
- Description: A brief description of the product or service sold.
- Channel Name: The channel or bundle associated with the sale.
- Quantity: The quantity of items purchased.
- Amount: The total amount for the item(s).
- Comment (Internal Use Only): Any notes or comments for internal tracking and reference.
6. Exporting Sales Data
If you need to analyze the sales data further, click the Download button located below the table. This will allow you to download the filtered sales data into a CSV file for external use.
