Greenroom Overview
A livestream greenroom is a virtual backstage area where presenters, moderators, and guests can prepare before going live. It functions similarly to a physical greenroom at an event—offering a private space for final checks, discussions, and rehearsals before appearing on the live broadcast.
After your Studio Guests have joined the meeting and you have completed your event run-through, the next step is to start recording, start screenshare if required & launch the Live Meeting.
To start & stop a recording of your live meeting click the start record button on your media tool bar:
To start a screenshare click the Start Screensharing button on your media toolbar and select the desired Tab, Window or Monitor.
Launch a Live Meeting
When you are ready to go live:
-
Click Go Live in the top-right corner of the Live Studio
At this point, the Live Meeting is active, and the audience can see and hear the presenters. Next, you can configure your layout options.
Selecting this icon in the media toolbar will open the layout options:
The following options are available:
Grid View: will split all camera sources into equal sized portions
Active Speaker: Will only display the last speaker to talk on screen
Screenshare only: Will only display the active screenshare to viewers
