When running a live stream on webcastcloud through a Zoom Meeting, there are a few settings that you want to ensure are set correctly before you start. Here is a brief checklist:
- Meeting Settings:
- Cloud Recording: We recommend turning cloud recording rather than using your local device. Its a safer option, and ensures your not using your local resources during a live stream.
In Meeting >Advanced options >enable Automatically record meeting select >In the cloud >Save
- Alternative host: If you are scheduling the meeting for another speaker, or might not be able to moderate the meeting, ensure you set an alternate host for the meeting.
- Waiting Room: We recommend to turn on waiting room for your meeting, so you can allow speakers in when you are ready and ensure no uninvited participants enter during your live stream.
- Cloud Recording: We recommend turning cloud recording rather than using your local device. Its a safer option, and ensures your not using your local resources during a live stream.

- Hide Non-Video Participants: This will ensure that any moderator or 'non-speaker' on the meeting will not be shown during the live stream. They will be hidden from view if their video is off and microphone is muted.
- Start your scheduled meeting early so you can configure the following settings before going live
- Click View in the top right corner of your meeting
- Click "Show Non-Video Participants" so that it changes to "Hide Non-Video Participants"
- Multiple Participants can share simultaneously: This will allow all presenters in your zoom meeting to share their screens whenever they require.
- Bring up the Zoom Tool bar in your Meeting, click the arrow on the Share Screen icon
- Select "Multiple Participants can share simultaneously"
- Speaker or Gallery View: Select your preferred display option for your live stream.
Speaker view will only display the active speaker's video to the audience while gallery will display anybody with their Video Camera on in a grid view. Gallery View is ideal for Q&A or a Panel session where presenters are interacting with each other.
- Click View top right of your zoom meeting
- Choose between Speaker view or Gallery view

- Hide Non-Video Participants: This will ensure that any moderator or 'non-speaker' on the meeting will not be shown during the live stream. They will be hidden from view if their video is off and microphone is muted.
